We asked for a non smoking room because of my baby, when we got in to the room, there was an ash tray sitting on the table & you could smell the smoke bad. They were no pillows, the bed sheets had holes burned in them. There were things in the floor when we got in the room. We called and asked for some pillows and they said that they didn't have any? I recommend a different hotel!! This one isn't good at all!

Upon check-in, the front desk person was very frazzled, could not get the key maker to work, forgot that we needed to fill out paperwork and had to call us back into the lobby after we got to our room to fill it out (didn't mention we'd need to provide driver's license and vehicle information so I had to go back to get that), and then the staff were not on the same page about the fact that I paid prior to arrival. Of course, this is a small hotel so I wasn't expecting anything fancy and was not surprised it was outdated, but there was no TV remote, the bed was very uncomfortable, and there were no wash cloths.

You get what you pay for...pool is not open, they should let people know that in advance, ice machine upstairs does not work, mattresses had large yellow stains, towels and wash cloths are very cheap, rough material and also had stains, remote for television did not work, and just a heads up there is no elevator so if you have small children or are handicapped, you will want to request a room downstairs. The positives, it was quiet, the bed was fairly comfortable, the front desk girl was pleasant, and the food at the huddle house was very good. I didn't bother complaining when there because it was a holiday weekend and i knew they had no rooms to move me to and I one all of the other hotels in the area were booked, so we made the best of what there was. I think next time though I might just stay in London

We've stayed here many times in the last 10 yrs. It is sufficient. Always seems to be in transition of some sort. Staff is nice and helpful, but the biggest issues are things out of their control.

Not a good experience with our latest stay. We have stayed in this hotel before and did not have problems. This time around it started bad by getting a smoking room instead of the non-smoking room I reserved. Was told there was no other room available. Asked for any air freshener or something to help lessen the smell and nothing was available. Then found the ice machine on our floor was not working. Could not get the internet to work. I was getting an error message saying there was a problem with wireless adapter or access point. When I contacted the front desk was told it was working for them, keep trying. In the morning we tried the breakfast. Biscuits were good but gravy was not hot. The orange/apple juice machine was not working and had to call the front desk. Coffee was not hot. Tried to get water to drink and the fountain in the lobby was not working. Lots of things making this stay a bad experience. Not sure we will stay here again when we visit family in the area.
